Our trips depart from the Isle of Palms Marina and take you through winding salt marsh, tidal creeks, and the Intracoastal Waterway to Capers Island. Along the way, you learn about this amazing ecosystem and the plants and animals that call it home. Bottlenose dolphins, loggerhead sea turtles, and numerous birds are common sightings.

Established in , we offer naturalist-led boat excursions to Capers Island Preserve, one of the few remaining undeveloped barrier islands. We will cruise through winding tidal creeks to find diverse wildlife living in t his salt marsh environment. Common sightings include bottlenose dolphin, loggerhead sea turtles, osprey, pelicans, herons, egrets, bald eagles, and more. Along the way, we employ various nets and traps for an up-close look at some of the creatures that thrive below the surface. We also offer our 6, 16, 22, and passenger boats for private charters.
