Crime Against Nature: A More Accurate Telling of Whats Natural by Gwenn Seemel

I saw some of the posters made from this book on tumblr and knew I had to look it up immediately. I fell in love within two pages.
The subject is one I care about and one that Im greatly interested in (without having it as my main field of study. A hobby you might say), so most of the actual information wasnt new to me and what was didnt surprise me at all. The illustrations, however, absolutely blew me away. They are amazing and stunning and I want one on my wall.

I read the book online (yes, you can do that on Gwenn Seemels website) in one go, but long before I was done I had added the printed copy it to my wishlist. As a poor student I cant afford it atm but hoping that someone might give it to me for Christmas. I need it in my life!

ETA: in the spring of 2014 I spent three weeks on vacation in the US visiting friends and family (after having studied in Canada for four months). I took the opportunity to order this book from Gwenn and so get the least shipping possible. And its worth buying the hard copy. I promise. Read it online, be amazed, and then get it. Just beautiful.
